Secrets and Clues

  • The demon-god Vithra is the god of half-serpents and demon-kind. They have a huge temple out in the Deadlands where it's said thousands of sacrifices were made.
  • Vithra was the god worshipped by the Sorcerer-Queen Sett, consort of the Nameless King. She has a huge ziggurat also out in the Deadlands.
  • Cultists of Vithra seek ancient secrets and dark magic and use humanoid sacrifices to retrieve it.
  • The Order of Kartan has been around for two thousand years, originally established as a pillar of magical knowledge within the Nameless King's empire. They betrayed the Nameless King for the Army of the Blue Star, cutting off his portals at a vital moment.
  • Many believe the mages of Kartan never truly left the NK's service but they were given amnesty and continue to operate to this day.
  • Danvon of Duskwater. A mage and historian residing in Kartan, Tower of the Arcane, has learned the location of the Brazier in Sunken Revvia.
  • Lady Kelda Brightwine brought the brazier to a bronze dragon lairing outside of the city in a ruined keep named after the dragon – the Keep of Grayon.
  • A fallen deva named Vrys now lairs in Sunken Revvia in the tower of Gray Reach.
  • Sunken Revvia is a battlefield between three entities – the hobgoblin warlord General Krash, the cult of Vrys, and a terrible black dragon named Ouryvax the Sallowsworn who commands trolls and stone giants out of the ruin called Omen's End.
  • A murderous mage named Tethrya Goldenborn fled to Sunken Revvia. The Golden Knights would like her brought to justice, one way or another.
  • There are three paths to Sunken Revvia; the stairwell in the tower of Kartan, the elevator in the back of the ruined temple of the Hole of the World, and through the ancient sewers of the Lost Cisterns.
